Google Groups

Google Groups are great place for planning and collaboration or discussion.  Anyone with a Google account can make one. Groups can be public or made private, and even when public, non-members will not be able to see the list of members, so their identity and personal information is safe.  Within the group, members can start discussions, upload documents and create webpages that, depending group settings, can be editable by all members of the group.


How Google Groups can be used in school?

Teachers can use Google Groups to: Make class handouts, reading materials, assignments, and web links available to students and their parents. Centralize resources and communication for professional learning communities.
